FUN FACTS:
A Tantalizing was shot in NY in March of 2024 and was made for $90,000.
Mr.Cullum trained up his voice and physical strength for 8 months before filming.
He turned 94 on set.
The film was shot in his building, the third floor being the production office and the second floor apartment, our set.
We shot on a Red Helium 8K with Sigma Lenses
Our director Katie Prael grew up with our cinematographer Albert Strietmann
Albert’s father, Peter Strietmann is the famed cinematographer of River of Fundament, directed by Matthew Barney.
Katie’s father William Prael worked alongside Mr.Cullum the entire shoot. Her mom, artist Liz Prael, strongly influenced the production design and assisted daily. Maggie, the family dog also had a featured role in the film.
Shareen Mitchell discovered the original one act play on which the screenplay is based in 1989. She carried it in her heart with a vision to see it as a screenplay until 2019 when she asked William Mastrosimone, the playwright, for permission to adapt the play into a feature length film.
Oriana Cyprus, never having produced before, carried the bulk of the on set production and line producing on what was her first feature film.
We had a crew of 8 assisted by friends and family.
Oriana Cyprus and Shareen Mitchell are sisters and formed their production company Two Sisters Media, Inc. in 2020. This is their first feature film.
